In 2020, after my SSC exam, I started to learn colloquial French in an online course. In that course, our teacher was Madame Aude Bié from France, and there were 15 students from 9 countries including me. So, I got an opportunity to meet peers from different countries and soon we became good online friends. One day, our teacher suggested us to send letters or postcards to each other to practice French language and learn more about different countries, cultures & traditions. Some of my friends were already familiar with the hobby Penpaling (writing letters to penfriends) and Postcrossing (sending postcards around the world). Because, in Europe and America, it is still a common practice to send postcards or letters to family members or friends.  I liked my teacher's idea but I didn't have a clue where to start from. ছবিতে একধরনের হ্যালো (Halo) ঘটনা দেখা যাচ্ছে, যাকে Sun Dog বা পারহেলিয়ন (Parhelion), বহুবচনে পারহেলিয়া (Parhelia) বলা হয়। বাংলায় একে কিরীট বা জ্যোতির্বলয় বলে। এ ঘটনা ঘটলে মনে হয় যে প্রকৃত সূর্যের পাশে আরও ২টি সূর্য রয়েছে যেগুলো মূল সূর্য থেকে কিছুটা অনুজ্জ্বল। পারহেলিয়ন শব্দটি গ্রিক শব্দ "para-Helios" থেকে উদ্ভূত যার অর্থ "সূর্যের পাশে"।  আবহাওয়াবিদ্যার (Meteorology) ভাষায়, এটি একটি বায়ুমণ্ডলীয় আলোকীয় ঘটনা (atmospheric optical phenomenon), যার জন্য মূল সূর্যের এক বা উভয় দিকে সূর্যের অনুরূপ প্রতিবিম্ব বা উজ্জ্বল বিন্দুসদৃশ একটি বিম্ব দেখা দেখা যায়।  সূর্য যখন দিগন্তের (Horizon) কাছাকাছি থাকে, তখন পারহেলিয়া সবচেয়ে স্পষ্ট দেখা যায়। সাধারণত জানুয়ারী, এপ্রিল, আগস্ট এবং অক্টোবরে সূর্য দিগন্তের কাছাকাছি থাকে এবং পারহেলিয়া সবচেয়ে বেশি ও স্পষ্ট দেখা যায়। শীতকালে উচ্চ ও মধ্য অক্ষাংশে অবস্থিত দেশগুলোতে পারহেলিয়ন মাঝে মধ্যেই দেখা যায়। কেননা, তখন সূর্য দিগন্তের কাছাকাছি অবস্থানে থাকে। শীত প্রধান দেশে পারহেলিয়া বেশি দেখা গেলেও, গ্রীষ্মপ্রধান দেশে এবং যেকোনো ঋতুতে বিশ...
